In December 2003, The Community Alliance adopted a set of community outcome targets. Since that time, the Alliance has added outcome targets in the areas of positive youth development, substance abuse, health care and abuse, neglect and violent behavior.  The Alliance's Planning and Outcome Work Group worked together with the County's Human Services Advisory Council and SCOPE to develop additional outcome targets.  These measures can be see in the updated reports below.

The work group is utilizing "The Communities That Care (CTC) Sarasota County Youth Survey" as its source for data in the area of positive youth development.  Surveys were conducted among 9th and 11th graders in the Sarasota County School System in January 2003 and December 2004/January 2005.  Surveys were also conducted among 6th and 8th graders in the Sarasota County School System in December 2003 and December 2005.  These surveys are available online in PDF format by clicking on the above dates of the survey.
